Photograph taken by Aperturous Falkirk Wheel © 2014.
This photo was taken back in 2014. It shows the Falkirk Wheel, with two barges on one side, during a rotation. It was a lovely sunny day so the wheel was very busy and turned fairly regularly. I was keen to get a shot that would give me
not only some of that reflection from the water underneath but which would look through the circles to the lovely countryside view in the background too.
Aperturous is a pseudonym I have been using for the last few years to share my (mostly) location photography. Prints are being offered for sale as part of my 6x4 project. Find out more about the project here: The 6x4 Project.
